My research focuses on introducing cortical paired associative stimulation as a viable method for neuromodulation and in rodents. I am also interested in studying the changes in approach/ avoidance behavior of rodents followed by cortical paired associative stimulation.

I am interested in brain connectivity and in the way different regions form complicated networks and cooperate. Specifically in my research, we try to alter these brain connectivities with TMS and hopefully direct future research in the lab to find novel treatments for brain diseases.
Yasmin Abergel – M.Sc. student
I am studying TMS induced changes of brain activity and emotion related behaviors using paired associative cortico-cortical stimulation directed to the right and left lateral prefrontal cortex.
