Research associate; Head of ADHD project
Responsible for the integration of TMS stimulation and EEG measurement in the lab and for development of analysis tools for quantification and visualization of TMS induced plasticity processes following repetitive deep TMS treatment.
The ADHD project is a clinical study designed to identify certain EEG based neuro-markers which underlie the therapeutic effect of deep TMS. We record EEG while stimulating target areas of the brain with regular or deep TMS coils, trying to identify relevant patterns of brain response which discriminates ADHD patients from healthy controls and are altered due to daily sessions of repetitive TMS treatment. Such neuro-markers could elucidate neural mechanisms of TMS induced plasticity, promote better selection of patients, higher response rates to the treatment, and in the future may establish core technology for personalized dTMS treatment.
