The airport which has won numerous awards serves flights to North America, Europe, the Far East, Southern Asia, the Middle East, and Africa operated by many major international airlines as well as many low-cost airlines. The largest carriers at Ben Gurion Airport with flights to Israel include Israeli national airline, El Al, as well as EasyJet, Turkish Airlines, Lufthansa, Wizz Air, Delta, and United. For more information see the full list of flights to Tel Aviv. In addition, the newly opened Ramon Airport, in Eilat serves low-cost flights from Europe as well as domestic flights. Flights from Ramon Airport to Tel Aviv (Ben-Gurion Airport) are operated by the Israeli carriers Israir and Arkia (flight duration: approx. 50 minutes).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"has-luminous-vivid-orange-color has-text-color\">Transportation from\/to Ben Gurion International Airport<\/h3>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Be aware, the public transportation (trains &amp; buses) in Israel does not operate from Friday afternoon (one hour before sunset) until Saturday evening (one hour after sunset).\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ben-Gurion International Airport is Israel\u2019s main international airport and is located 18 km (~11 miles) southeast of Tel Aviv.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Pre-reserved arrival\/departure airport transfers operated by Diesenhaus-Unitours<\/b><br \/>This is a direct transfer service from the airport to your hotel in Tel-Aviv and\/or return, offered to meeting participants. Possible wait &#8211; up to 1 hour for arrival transfers.\u00a0 A Diesenhaus Unitours representative will meet you upon arrival\u00a0inside the Arrivals Hall, after you go through passport control. He will be holding\u00a0a sign &#8220;ECONET&#8221;. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Arrival and departure transfers should be reserved on the Meeting Registration &amp; Accommodation Form. Full arrival\/departure details must be provided in advance. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Price: US$240 per car (1\u20133-seater) per transfer (arrival or departure). <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 US$293 per car (4\u20136-seater) per transfer (arrival or departure).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Taxis<\/b>Taxis are freely available outside the airport terminal. Fares to Tel-Aviv are approx.\u00a0 $85-$145. A 25% surcharge for night trips is in effect from 21:01 until 05:29 and from 14:00 on Fridays.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Train from airport \u2013 to Be&#8217;er Sheva North &#8211; University<\/b> \u00a0(NIS 28 = ~$8). <\/span>The train station is located on Level S (the lowest floor) and can be accessed from Greeters Hall via elevators, escalators, or stairs. Tickets may be purchased from automatic machines located on Level G.\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Get off at the Tel Aviv-HaHagana in order to change your train for Be&#8217;er Sheva and approach Platform 3 and take the train to Be&#8217;er Sheva North &#8211; University.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Public transit navigation, maps, schedules, and real-time arrivals:<\/strong><\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/moovitapp.com\/israel-1\/poi\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/moovitapp.com\/israel-1\/poi\/en<\/a><\/p>\n<p><b><i>Train Timetable:<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rail.co.il\/EN\/Pages\/HomePage.aspx\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">http:\/\/ww<\/span>w.rail.co.il\/EN\/Pages\/HomePage.aspx<\/a><b>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Tickets: You can buy train tickets at the train station (machines or ticket office). For buses, you need an app to scan a QR code. You can do that with the apps HopOn or Moovit (will require a credit card). You cannot pay to the drivers\/conductors on buses or trains.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"has-luminous-vivid-orange-color has-text-color\">Getting to the venue and the UTel<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The destination train station is Be\u2019er Sheva North\/University. The UTel is a walking distance from the train station.
